If you think you can only get delicious snow crab during “the season,” think again. Because it’s pre-cooked and flash frozen almost immediately after catch. Crab retains its delectable taste and firm texture that can be enjoyed any time of the year. The shell has been cracked and partially removed to make them easy to serve and eat. Just thaw and serve chilled- warm, melted butter optional. Once the snow crab is thawed, be sure to store it in the refrigerator and use the crab meat within two days.
Wild crab can have blemishes and barnacles on the shell.
Packaging – Our snow crab legs are flash-frozen, glazed, then packaged. This product is sold by the pound. The product will come in loose legs or clusters we do not guarantee clusters coming whole. We may need to break clusters to get to accurate weight and shipping may break clusters, all product will taste awesome even if clusters are broken, broken clusters do not affect taste or quality.
Snow crab is low in fat and calories, yet high in protein, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and iron. It is also a good source of Folate and Magnesium, and a very good source of Vitamin B12, Phosphorus, Zinc, Copper and Selenium. On the other hand, snow crab is very high in cholesterol and sodium.
