The only problem with these Salmon bellies is that I can't stop eating them when I get started. They are so good and I intend to purchase more of them. I think that keeping these in stock will be a challenge for my friends at Tanners. All their products are solid good and their packaging is the best I have ever seen. I highly recommend all of these products.

My only suggestion is to add more of the belly meat, giving the customer more to eat considering there’s so much waste in fin and skin. But the flavor of the edible portion is excellent - a delicacy!
A long time lover of smoked salmon both hot and cold smoked all over the world I prefer a softer less salty version. Their recipe isn’t wrong,. It is just too hard smoked, too hard and too salty for my liking.
Lived in Alaska for 20 years and had everyone’s rendition. Worked in the fish smoking world for 3 years. This is high quality but in my humble opinion needs to be softer in texture and less salty as King is nice and fatty and soft on its own and stands on its own with a light smoke and almost no salt needed.
That said each to their own. This is their version and they clearly work hard to make it consistent and high quality.
Chinook is the richest salmon. Belly is the richest part of the chinook. And these bellies, with their brown sugar brine, are the best bellies around. There’s really no point in eating any other protein, fish or otherwise, if you can get these bellies.
