An Alaskan favorite! Many locals prefer the delicate white flesh of this bottom fish to even the ever popular halibut. Alaskan Lingcod is widely enjoyed for its very light texture and mild flavor. Caught by local fishermen on the rocky reefs surrounding the coastline of the Kenai Peninsula. These fish are harvested in small quantities, and when available are considered a delicious treat. Portion sizes vary from 1/4lb up to 1lb each.

Reliability matters

I could easily gush about fresh Alaskan fish and seafood, but I decided to take a slightly different tack in my review.
In my dealings with Tanner’s, I have found that I can rely on the high quality of my fish purchases as they arrive at my door and the total fulfillment process. Clearly both are important to Tanner’s and appreciated by me. It is nice to know I can count on Tanner’s to be a reliable partner in our overall quality of life.

Perfect size filets and packaging

Having been disappointed with a competitor filets I decided to order from Tanners. The filets are perfect and the same thickness end to end. They actually came in overnight and were still frozen hard as a rock. We will be reordering from Tanners for sure in the future!!!

We had some of the Ling Cod for supper tonight and I deep fat fried it!! The flavor was amazing and my hubby, son and Grandson also loved it!! Thanks so much for an amazing meal that this fish created!
