Great chunks of good halibut meat without any skin or bone. If you prefer strictly solid pieces of halibut meat, this one is an excellent choice.
It was hard for me to believe that halibut cheeks would have the texture and taste like scallops,, it is true and very good.
I just got my shipment last week and haven’t eaten most of the fish yet, including the halibut cheeks. But I am looking forward to eating them 8n the future. Packaging was spot on for adding to my freezer!
OMG is halibut cheek a fantastic seafood and worth every penny! Best preparation is an even thickness layer of halibut in a covered pyrex dish, with butter and lots of breadcrumbs over the fish. Microwave 5 minutes plus on power level 8. Use a digital thermometer: if you keep the center to 140 to 145 degrees Farenheit and no hotter, you get the taste and texture of lobster. Enjoy!
