Octopus Tentacles

Everything came as expected and top quality.

If you cook with octopus, you know what octopus looks like when it has seen heat. These tentacles arrive looking cooked, and the package says they are cooked. But they are only blanched to firm them up for packaging. They are NOT ready-to-eat. They must be boiled/sous vide/pressure cooked/braised before they will be tender enough to eat.

That said, the arms are large and the quality is high. There just isn't enough clarification in the listing or on the packaging, so I wasted a full package by tossing them straight on the grill, since the package said it was fully cooked.

I couldn't believe how efficient and quick my order was processed. within a couple days it was delivered to my door. Wonderful!

Very fresh and easy to prepare. Glad we found somewhere to buy octopus.

There is no need for fancy recipes.. Just thaw, cut and eat. It would be nicer if the two legs were seperated so both did not need to be thawed at once,
